Student Suds was founded in 2006 by Jason Ewart while attending the University of Alberta. In his years at university, Jason decided to tackle the summer job market by becoming franchisee with a national student painting company, where he won multiple awards for outperforming in marketing, sales, production, and customer satisfaction, including Rookie Manager of the Year and National Manager of the Year.
To college students, we offer predictable, good pay, no cost business and work experience. No other student based company offers this kind of risk free opportunity and support to students, which gives our staff peace of mind and allows them to focus on providing exceptional service to our customers. We recognize that the success of Student Suds is based on a solid reputation, which allows us to gain and retain the loyalty of our clients and student staff.
After two successful summers, Jason saw that there was much room for improvement in the ease and quality of student work, so he set out to create a simple system to help students gain valuable business experience without the large preseason time commitment or capital that other student companies required. In the summer of 2006, Student Suds was born. Student Suds focuses on providing exceptional window cleaning, gutter cleaning, and pressure washing services at reasonable prices, creating fair and rewarding opportunities for hard working students, and refining its systems and processes to build a lasting brand in an industry where it was once lacking.
2011 saw our first major expansion. After cleaning the outsides of more than 2,000 different Edmonton homes, we moved in and introduced “Student Suds Housekeeping”. Our professional, reliable, and affordable cleaning services were now available for the inside of your home.
In the coming years, we look forward to the continued growth of Student Suds, and as we grow, Student Suds will continue to dedicate itself to passionately providing quality residential cleaning services to our customers and rewarding employment to hard working college/university students.
